Torchlight Justice Foundation seeks to become a community-centered, worker self-directed, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
We will be led, staffed, and supported by people from intersecting, historically-excluded communities because we value our unique COURAGE, wisdom and lived experience. Together, we will invest in our own HEALING and in (re)building healthy kinships and community CONNECTION so that we can live and create in the world that honors the humanity of all.
Our programs will create opportunities for radical collaboration and resource sharing. Having an entire community of perspectives, resources, and support helps us to create and innovate paths to transformative justice.
We practice at an individual level what we wish to create in the world, beginning with how we treat ourselves and each other in doing our work.
We embrace the abundance of reciprocity and share resources, ideas, talents and skills with each other and our communities.
We invest in our sustainability and growth by integrating our innovations into our shared infrastructure.
We grow from seeds of liberation into a thriving ecosystem of transformative justice and liberation.
We embrace play, celebration, humor and other expressions of radical joy in our lives and work.
